Even if you set out to go for a brisk walk and don’t feel like you walked as quickly as you would have liked to, it’s still better than if you had sat around in front of your computer.
A new study, supported in part by the U.S. National Institute for Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Diseases, was published online February 19th in the Journal of Physical Activity & Health. It found that older adults who sit too much are more likely to be disabled, even if they exercised regularly as well.
